Allowing the green belt to be altered instead of added to during development intensification is evidence of shifting priorities where the environment no longer comes first. Putting people at risk of greater flooding and putting our lakes at risk of greater pollution is only shooting ourselves in the foot!

Going backwards after improving our environmental stewardship is bad business and bad management! This gambling mentality regarding the health of the planet and it’s people has to stop! If someone only has short-term profit in mind instead of factoring in the long term environmental costs they should be removed from making any decisions, as the future survival of life depends on it!!!
