Everyone involved in the Proposed Amendments to the Greenbelt Plan should be ashamed of themselves. I am 100% against any of these proposed changes to the Greenbelt Plan. It's pathetic that the government is using the housing crisis as an excuse to destroy the Greenbelt. The GTA’s housing targets can be reached by adding density to the existing urban areas. Build up, not out. We need more efficient density planning instead of delaying problems with pointless sprawl. More sprawl has no real benefits and actively makes environmental issues worse now and exponentially worse in the future.
