Instead of building mid density or intensification corridors on existing land, the Ontario government at the behest of real estate developers are planning to give up thousands of acres of prime farmland and wetland. This is blatant corruption and inductive of a government only concerned for a few. Your empty platitudes about the housing crisis couldn’t be more obvious, and everyone sees through it.

These wetlands formed over millennia, and are critically important to the ecological stability of Ontario. Setting the precedent that they can just be tampered with because some real estate cronies that bought the land for nickels on the dime want to sell it back to the public at a premium is absurd.

If this government proceeds with this, in my mind they are morally bankrupt.

These developments are deeply disturbing, and if they go through I will not support the Ontario PC party in the future. I am ashamed to say I donated to Doug’s campaign, I certainly won’t be making that mistake in the future.
