I approve the lease…

I approve the lease extension as a temporary measure to allow time to develop a permanent solution.
The permanent solution is to move forward with the sale of lots to cottage owners and end the uncertainty associated with ongoing leases. This solution was proposed and agreed to by Minister of Environment, Conservation and Parks Jeff Yurek, Chatham-Kent Mayor Darrin Canniff, and Rondeau Cottagers Association. It has been reaffirmed as the preferred option by MPP Trevor Jones.
