I would like to have the following points considered in your decision making regarding continuous cottage lease renewals for Rondeau Park Cottages.

Cottages is a term that does not fit many structures at the Park; moreover, many of the cottages are neglected, or abandoned resulting in unsafe eye-sores, wasting the regeneration of flora and fauna.
Four car garages, etc., are not compatible with park policies. Also, there is considerable decorative and invasive shrubs and plants being brought into the park region which is not compatible to a Carolinian environment.
There is excess lawn mowing and leaf blowing , sewage disposal trucks year round to service cottages.
There is an almost suburban appearance developing
Human demographics are to increase dramatically in the region, in which a natural setting for people will become even more significant; moreover, the Chatham-Kent region has only 4% tree cover, and that includes wind breaks I believe.
There are very few public access points in which people are crowded in when they attempt to utilize the beach.
I would suggest no further lease extension after December 2024.
The leases have generated a hand me down entitlement since their inception.
In summary, I feel the cottages are an intrusive fixture in the publicly owned park and are in opposition to public access, as well as the ecological balance of the sands pit and the creatures that rely on its existence.
