As someone who lives in the Rouge Park, I can tell you that this is a huge mistake. Other studies have shown that there are more effective ways to increase housing availability that will not compromise prime agricultural land.

What makes our area of Scarborough/Pickering great is the proximity to nature and the city. These new developments will only increase suburban sprawl and take away from this place what makes it great.
