The Ontario Government announced several changes to multiple pieces of legislation as a response to Ontario’s housing supply issue.
The primary impact of this Bill on a local municipality’s ability to conserve cultural heritage resources involves proposed amendments to the Planning Act and the Ontario Heritage Act. There are a number of proposals which will have adverse impacts on heritage conservation in Ontario.
