I do not agree with the proposed changes. The Greenbelt is a stronghold for biodiversity, farmland, flood mitigation, and carbon sequestration. The need for more housing does not mean we should be removing greenspaces and habitat in order build them. Build up, not out. These proposals go against Doug Ford's promise to leave the Greenbelt alone. We have already had this discussion and farmers, landowners and concerned citizens have already said NO. As a government, your responsibility is to listen to the people. We need the greenbelt. We need housing. Find a different place to build it.

Leave the Greenbelt be. You'll regret it if you don't.
