Please do not develop the Greenbelt or the Oak Ridges Moraine through these proposed amendments, or any others. This is not responsible development nor is it a solution to the housing crisis. Taking away greenspace will only put more burden on the future, causing more flooding, less food security and a loss of greenspace, all of which are compounded by the impacts of climate change. This approach will only put money in the pockets of a few developers, while costing the futures of everyone else. Promises were made to not touch the Greenbelt and Moraine, please honour that.
