My understanding is that the 258 active cottages make up 1% of the overall parkland. Out of curiosity I wonder what percentage of the park's revenue these 258 cottages contribute to?
The restrictive covenants that these people abide to are very stringent.
As a visitor I was impressed by this feature of the park and saddened to think that it could fall by the wayside and even have the cottage building owners have pay out of pocket to have their buildings removed. Sad, restrictive, disruptive times we live in. Live and let live.
