The Greenbelt should not be touched for housing, it’s already a very delicate ecosystem and more disruptions will have exponentially devastating effects on its biodiversity, services, and natural protection it provides Ontarians. It is the responsibility of the government to respect existing protection measures and collaborate with environmentally innovative specialists to provide high density housing that doesn’t add more of the suburban drain on metropolitan resources. For what my say is worth, don’t touch the Greenbelt. It is one of the most ignorant and self-serving moves Premiere Ford has pulled to date, and it is not in the best interest of our province.
