We have the huge responsibility to care for land for a much bigger purpose than making money and seeing city sprawl. Canada is known for it's vastness and it's environmental resources. Ontario was formally "yours to discover" because of the beauty that we own and care for. The world is in crisis right now and we need to start looking at how we can produce more food here and take care of our land better. The greenbelt is a hands off area and always has been for good reason. Mr.Ford had a housing commission that outlined very clearly how to use land existing in other places to fulfill needs. We should absolutely use this advice. He should not throw it out. We can't start down the road of chiseling off parts of the jewel we hold or it is a slippery slope of greed. Please. For the future of our province don't pave paradise to put up a parking lot. It was promised to us the people that it would not be touched.
