There is plenty of land available for development in already-established cities. Then Greenbelt is one of the few natural areas left in or near the GTA and should be kept that way for all our citizens to enjoy, not to turn into further hastily designed suburban hell. At the VERY LEAST, serious requirements need to be mandated for green living. Depending on the city, many developers can simply pay a fee in order to not build a park or forest, and this absolutely cannot happen with this development if it still goes through. Best case scenario is we increase density in established areas and allow this Greenbelt to remain green.
