I strongly oppose to the change in zoning and the destruction of protected land such as the Greenbelt in Ontario with the argument that we need more housing. There are many independent studies that argue that developing the Greenbelt won't solve much of the housing crisis in Ontario and on the contrary, it will contribute to the destruction of flora and fauna of Ontario.

Adding to the matter, there are numerous reporting that argue that the timing of the proposal to change the Greenbelt by Doug Ford is suspicious as developers bought land there within the past few years and they are poise to profit.
