Reallocating sections of the Greenbelt for development is not the only solution to helping the housing crisis of Ontario. The negative impact on the environment is obvious, as is the continued erosion of trust for the Ford government. When reading the proposal, it is clear that affordability is not a priority and these developments are not likely to significant ease the housing burden. Several other assessments published by the government have been performed and the many other solutions proposed, do not include the Greenbelt. Do better and make better use of our resources.
