This legislation is worrisome because it seems to be ignoring the $26trillion industry in climate change mitigation and alternative energy solutions. Surely investment in clean energy would pay off the $15B deficit that is getting so much attention now.

Cap and trade has proven itself to be financially and environmentally efficacious in other jurisdictions. There is no need to scrap it just because the Liberals brought it in.

Premier Ford's "people of Ontario" will suffer in the long run, given the looming cost of future effects of climate change, some of which we are experiencing now. Where are our targets from the 2015 Paris summit? We can't live without a healthy environment.
