Ontario does need more housing. But…

1) Not in the Greenbelt while there are still opportunities to further densify GTA areas that *already have infrastructure*

2) Affordable housing near transit is needed, not McMansions in the countryside.

3) The infra tax burden to be transferred to small municipalities will crush them.

4) The corruption - a handful of OPC donors buying up Greenbelt land to turn massive profits. Premier Ford breaking his promise not to touch the Greenbelt

The bottom line: Ford has used the housing crisis as an excuse to enrich already wealthy donors, while not solving the housing crisis with affordable housing inside existing municipal infrastructure.
