(1) You are enriching developers on the backs of current homeowners. Passing development costs along by forcing municipalities to raise property taxes is wrong. Your government has declared war on homeowners and this is a fight that your government will not win.

If this is such an important issue for your government, don’t use municipalities as cover and don’t make them fund it. This will also just raise rents further as property taxes climb.

(2) Doug Ford’s flagrant lie about the Greenbelt stings. I have never seen such a blatant and overt breaking of a campaign promise. He knew what his plans were and couldn’t tell us it straight in the election. I will never forgive him, and everyone I speak to feels the same way. You can’t possibly expect us to fall for this again, do you?

(3) If affordable housing is that important, why don’t you restrict these new homes on the Greenbelt to be purchased by non-investors only? Stop listening to OREA and real estate agents who LOVE investors, and instead earmark these new homes for families who don’t currently own a house.
