On this day, Monday, November 28, 2022, Doug Ford and his government have passed Bill 23 BEFORE the end of the public commenting period deadline of December 4th.
Doug Ford's public comments not to develop the Greenbelt, as promised to the citizens of Ontario, are in contradiction to his videotaped private comments to donors.
The accelerated process of pushing this legislation through is contrary to Canada's democratic principles and expose the corrupt nature of this land development deal.
This corrupt land-for-political-donations deal must be scrapped and investigated by the Attorney General of Ontario, the Auditor General and the Integrity Commissioner's office.
Doug Ford must resign. His egregious lies, gaslighting and corrupt backroom deals will harm municipalities, taxpayers, the environment, farming, food pricing, wildlife, wetlands, affordable housing and our future.
