I ask the Ford government to leave the Greenbelt alone and focus development on land already available. Sprawl is not the answer - not to any question!

It is vastly better to build up on lands already serviced, already in proximity to amenities and necessities. Experts are telling you this, but you are listening to big developers (your donors/supporters) who will profit from this plan. Meanwhile, the environment loses, our ability to grow our own food is diminished, watersheds will be lost or reduced, there will be more flooding (something the CA's work hard to prevent), our children will lose, and the list goes on.

Listen to the Conservation Authorities, listen to the municipalities, listen to the people, and keep your promise to keep the Greenbelt safe and green.
