As a Professional Engineer…

As a Professional Engineer under the Province of Ontario, Greenbelt lands cannot be swapped with other lands as a form of equivalence. Opening the Greenbelt for development will have lasting longterm detrimental effects on our drinking water and air quality. Allowing development sprawl is not the solution and this is an example of poor short-term judgement on behalf of the PC Government. This is not a good solution and I represent many in voicing my opinion as to not move forward with this.
