Concerned citizen on two fronts. Please don't open the green belt for uncessarry development. It's an important natural ecosystem and buffer between Northern regions. It's part of what makes Ontario an attractive and beautiful province. Multiple well regarded urban planners have confirmed there is already more than enough accesible undeveloped land around municipalities to build more then adequate housing for the current crisis. Second concern is that there appears to be a major conflict of interest here. Multiple PC donors have very recently purchased greenbelt land with high loan interest rates. Connecting the dots isn't hard. Environmental destruction to placate donors should be a no go. The people are watching.
