I am objecting to the proposed amendments to the Greenbelt Plan because it is obvious that the Conservative Party under the leadership of Doug Ford has no concept of how damaging such amendments are to our precious wetlands and green spaces. They cannot be retrieved once they are destroyed and it is vital for the province, the country and the earth's environment that we keep as much green space as possible. Allowing this amendment is putting a foot in the door for future desecration of our province and our earth. Allowing the paving over of our province cannot be allowed.
