This Bill is the most disgusting piece of legislation enacted by this government, and the bar is very high. The blatant disregard for our fragile ecosystems and protected wetlands in the Greenbelt, so no respect for science or even the economic value in preserving these spaces and biodiversity.
The bulldozing of our democratic process, just after the completion of municipal elections is completely unacceptable. Many voters made Decisions based on housing plans and ideas put forward by candidates in their local area. This bill voids those votes, silences local councils, removes local solutions and is guaranteed to raise municipal taxes.
The suspicious purchases of undevelopable land by PC donors smacks of pay to play politics. It should be illegal to provide insider information that benefits a small number of wealthy friends against the public interest.

This feedback is probably moot as the bill has already passed, however I hope the court challenges take Ford and Clarke for all they are worth.
