Opening up the greenbelt for development is unlikely to influence the housing shortage as so many other factors that contribute to this problem are not being addressed appropriately.
Opening up the greenbelt for development will only lead to further ecosystem destruction for the benefit of a few developers.
As an Ontarion I would be very disappointed if this motion moves forward.
