These changes to the Greenbelt Plan will threaten the quality and quantity of our drinking water, endanger or eliminate environmentally sensitive areas, increase the risk of flooding, and contribute to unwanted and damaging urban sprawl. This will not solve the housing crisis, nor contribute to affordable housing.

Doug Ford was clear in 2018 that he would not touch the Greenbelt, but if these plan amendments are approved, he will be going back on his word.

Please listen to the citizens of Ontario who do not want this, not the developers who stand to profit from this Plan amendment.
