Mr. Ford has lived in Southern Ontario his whole life and has no idea how lucky we are to have fresh food available to us due to some of the best farmland in the world. I moved here from Northern Ontario and was delighted at how much better food tastes when it’s fresh, rather than picked early and shipped a distance. Why would we ever destabilize our access to such a valuable food source. Mr. Ford promised not to touch the green belt and he lied. He should be ashamed. It is very transparent that he is only interested in helping his wealthy friends and not thinking about what is best for everyone.
