Delpark Homes (Brooklin) Inc. is the owner of 7963 Ashburn Road in the Town of Whitby
(Part of Lot 26, Con 7, Township of Whitby). The property is approximately 20.23 hectares
with part of the property within the Greenbelt and partly withing a settlement area boundary.
Part of the lands in the area of approximately 2.4 hectares within the Greenbelt on our
property has no ecological value and we believe that it should be removed from the
Greenbelt as part of the current proposed Amendment to the greenbelt area boundary.
In support of our submission is a technical report co-written by our planner, engineer, and
environmental consultant.
The area we are requesting to be removed from the Greenbelt is immediately adjacent to a
planned growth area with servicing readily available and we are confident that we can deliver
the much needed housing supply in the timeframe the province is looking to achieve.
