This is a horrible idea. Marshlands are an important part of a balanced ecosystem and a bad place to develop. The additional costs to build there will be enormous.
The greenbelt is a key migratory pathway for many animals and birds.
The return on investment to build through the greenbelt is low and one that will hurt ontario for centuries to come.
