The Ontario Conservative Party was not elected to build houses on Greenbelt land and farmland and destroy the environment for future generations. In fact it promised the exact opposite prior to being elected. A clear promise was made by Doug Ford that the Greenbelt would not be touched.
The planet is in crisis and politicians have no right to add to environmental destruction, especially not just so developers who contribute to the Conservative Party can get rich.
We do not live in a dictatorship but Doug Ford has quickly turned into a dictator.
The Greenbelt and Ontario's prime farm land must be protected. You must acknowledge the fact that most Ontarians are appalled at your behavior and change course immediately.
This weekend there are 25 Save the Greenbelt rallies taking place in Ontario.
