What is the definition of the word 'protected'? Does it no longer hold any value? The Ford government has launched an attack on land that was promised to our children. Land that we enjoy surrounding our communities, land that protects us from flooding. This land holds more value than the price a developer will pay for it. If Doug Ford is as clever as he thinks he is, he can come up with an alternative solution than to chip away at this land. This is a lazy solution and slippery slope. I'm certain it's just him opening the door for more of the same year after year. It will quickly escalate to tens of thousands of acres.
