Pursuant to the Ford Government’s commitment to honour Ontario’s Greenbelt, I demand that you do just that. Studies have shown that this land is not necessary to solve the province’s housing issues and that there are other options available. It would also be an environmental catastrophe. I would also suggest that newcomers to our province be required to live a minimum length of time (2-3 years) further north in Ontario where space is plentiful and we need to grow the economy. Everyone CANNOT live in the GTA and surrounding areas and remote work makes this a viable option.
