Hands off the Greenbelt…

Hands off the Greenbelt please. There is no shortage of land to be developed for affordable housing. The Greenbelt is protected land and it needs to stay that way, regardless of what political party reigns. It is critical to our long term survival.
Instead, why not redevelop commercial areas into affordable residential housing? An example for the Environment Minister...there is a factory for sale on the river in Port Hope. Get one of your developer buddies to take that on instead of bulldozing farmland, wetland, watershed, green space!!
Please come up with smarter, more informed solutions.
