Commentaire
Preserving the heritage of our country and our communities is important. The changes proposed in this Act will limit the definition of heritage status so that many important sites will be significantly more challenging to protect. I believe that sites can have historical significance even if they do not have a permanent structure that meets the new definition for heritage protection under this Act.
