Why is it that a government that purports to support reduced greenhouse gases then proposes to destroy sensitive ecosystems in the name of furthering urban sprawl? Your hypocrisy is clearly on display. Under the guise of dealing with a housing shortage the Ford government is more interested in making their developer buddies rich than protecting Ontarians. The Oak ridges moraine region was protected for a reason not the least of which was to protect headwaters. Lets build up rather than out and respect some of the better decisions that were made by past governments to protect sensitive land that can so easily be destroyed. Why must we watch our government with an eagle eye knowing they do little if anything to protect the commons and jump at every opportunity to create wealth and opportunity for themselves and their friends?
