I am opposed to this…

I am opposed to this proposal to eliminate Greenbelt. Period. The Greenbelt should not be used for development on which to build sprawling neighborhoods that pollute and further destroy the surrounding environment.

Successive governments in Ontario have slowly depleted the Greenbelt over the past 20 years. When will it end? This use of Greenbelt will continue to set a dangerous precedent and it should not be allowed to happen. We need to protect our agricultural and environmentally sensitive land for our own good health and for that of future generations.
