I absolutely do not support opening up the green belt. It is irresponsible in the face of the current climate crisis and is the exact opposite of the sustainable solutions we need. What is equally concerning is the government lying on its stance of opening up the green belt. This is not a priority or want of the Ontario people. Especially given that this was no an electoral issue it is clear the people were not given a fair referendum on this issue. I truly plead with you to do the right thing for our current generation and our children’s and not destroy this last remaining bit of protecting and necessary land. I strongly oppose opening up the green belt as does my entire household.
