This proposed amendment would cause massive disruptions to the current ecosystem, not to mention, the amount of empty housing/large structures that currently exist in Ontario which could be used instead of cutting back green-belts for more development projects.

By going back on his promise to not touch the greenbelt, Doug Ford is showing once again that his primary focus as Premier is to make money and not to the citizens of Ontario. There is a limited amount of green-space on Turtle Island and it cannot be easily replaced/re-greened as it were once it has been developed without a large amount of waste and even more disruption to an already at-risk ecosystem.

We need to maintain the commitment to use our space instead of cutting into protected spaces to grow the economy/work etc.

Losing more green-space near the concrete city is NOT an option, nor should it even be a consideration.
