The proposed amendments to the Greenbelt plan are a disastrous triumph of greed over the shared common need for a healthy environment where biodiversity in plants and animals are prioritized as necessary alongside clean air and water for our health and continued existence.
The Greenbelt must not only be protected and preserved in its current form, any rational and good government would do this and also expand the area of protection within the province to protect our collective well-being and well-being and survival of future generations of humans, plants and animals.
