The Greenbelt lands should always remain as intended, especially agricultural lands.
The Niagara region, because of its geographical location, has been and should remain, as Ontario’s area for fruit etc crops. We should never outsource our food production to other areas of Canada or to other countries. Such behaviour will only hurt our society in the long term.
Greenbelt ideology represents a healthy knowledge of societal needs, that encompass the basic principles of good planning; taking into consideration the areas of sociology and biology as pertaining to agriculture, food security.human health, and the environmental health of Toronto and it’s surrounding areas.
Lands should be added but not exchanged or deleted from a Greenbelt.
