As an Ontario resident, I am horrified by the Ontario Government’s intention to remove 7,400 acres of precious farmland and natural areas from Greenbelt protection.

We need this land to feed ourselves. In a world of climate change (droughts in California and other food producing regions), Ontario may be a reservoir of life.

Densify within municipal boundaries, and do not allow development of farmland or wetland or watershed.

Doug Ford, this was an election promise. Don’t reneg. It’s your reputation on the line.
