In my opinion this matter is THE most important for our province, country, and globe. At the VERY LEAST we need to stick with the Paris accord--and make it legally binding. We know that the only way to stop polluters, or encourage them to reduce emissions, is to make them pay. Just like charging for plastic bags--it's the right thing to do. It's also clear that the way forward is green energy, and that we're on the cusp of big breakthroughs in all areas, from green cars to solar panels to you name it--let's not stick our heads in the sand on this. Let's set realistic goals--I'll never see 2050 but my grandchildren will. I don't want to leave this gorgeous blue planet a living hell--or dying hell for that matter.
