I am extremely disappointed…

I am extremely disappointed and upset. The whole process to this point has shown itself to be rash, arbitrary, and lacking in any meaningful consultation. It is generally acknowledged that the housing "crisis" can be addressed without any need to bring the Greenbelt into the conversation.

Further it is shameful that it is quite evident that the main beneficiaries of this plan are the premier's friends, not the people of Ontario. No mention of affordable housing, no mention of existing areas available for development, no mention of climate change or urban sprawl and no mention of how this will affect local municipalities. Just barge ahead! Ridiculous!
