I am totally against…

I am totally against building in the Greenbelt for reasons I am sure you are aware of. Desecration of farmlands and wetlands cannot continue. They are necessary for food security for ourselves and perhaps for other parts of the world, and for the health of our environment. We must respect Mother Nature and it’s diversity including plants and animals. How can a few people in power be allowed to put our future, our existence and that of the planet in jeopardy? If we don’t take care of Mother Nature, she cannot take care of us.

Building on the Greenbelt will not alleviate the housing shortage we have. Expensive homes, sprawl, and longer commute times is not what we need . Please read the works of Jane Jacobs about liveable cities.

Cannot begin to express my disappointment at how the Ontario government can easily dismiss our precious Mother Earth, which gives us life, and treat it as a commodity!!! Repeal Bill 23 !!!!!!!!!!!!!
