The green belt is an important ecological area that need to be maintained to continue Toronto’s healthy growth. This bill is a woeful band-aid proposed to help the housing crisis, which it will not succeed in doing, but rather begin to erode the green belt which needs to be maintained to ensure a safe future for Toronto.
