I was previously in favour of this highway being built but after some thinking I have begun to think this is not such a good idea. It would be far more beneficial for the city and the province at large to invest in 15-minute GO train service. The province should use the funding allocated to the highway to build out high speed rail capacity instead. That will be a far more efficient use of public funds, as well as a way to ensure emissions decrease in our province.
