… I am of the sincere belief that this land, located as it is within a stone’s throw of Walmart, should be housing people who can benefit from its proximity to the shops and services of Hamilton. There are untold thousands of acres so much better suited to Greenbelt inclusion for which the government has already arranged, I understand. Who can possibly be against fine tuning the arbitrarily created Greenbelt to best serve the underserved homeowners of Ontario? Wise stewardship of Ontario lands requires thoughtful swapping out Greenbelt land for housing while at the same time maintaining the integrity of the Greenbelt with inclusion of other lands less serviceable. The aforementioned property will, in a relative sense, be quick and easy to transform into much needed housing in this area.
