Keep your promise to keep away from the Greenbelt! Saving every bit of these green spaces and prime agricultural land is essential for climate resiliency. This is serious!

As citizens we will not stand for this Ludacris proposal. Not only is this bill an infringement upon our need to protect these precious ecosystems and agricultural lands, it's an infringement upon our democratic rights as citizens. As a citizen of Hamilton Ontario, I have stood by my allies and comrades to keep the urban boundary to prevent ecologically destructive sprawl.

It further threatens our ability as communities to build affordable infrastructure within our cities, which is essential to a thriving economy and communities. There are other issues socially in terms of added barriers for racialized individuals and other issues around green construction.

The issues with bill 23 are vast and profound. Repeal this horrendous and damaging bill immediately.
