Please reconsider the proposal to build on the green belt.
It was supposed to be forever protected land for future generations to enjoy, and for our food to be grown on. Once built upon it is gone forever. Doug Ford is choosing this option to help line the pockets of his developer buddies. There are better options within cities in southern Ontario.
The sale of protected lands before the proposed changes were even announced obviously shows that he tipped off the developers about the upcoming changes. How is that even legal, let alone ethical. All from the guy who said he would not touch the green belt. Shame.
