I am very disappointed by the new government's decisions on climate. We need to take advantage of the huge opportunities in renewable energy now, before the market is saturated. We can have tons of jobs and be a huge leader in the technology, building, and maintenance of so-called green tech. I want a common-sense government that's actually open for business, not throwing money away on dying technologies and fuels. Carbon taxes are fair to all businesses because they level the playing field. Cap and trade is fair because some businesses will take longer to transition away from the old technologies. This is not political, this is pure business common sense. I want a government that's investing in the future, not stuck in the past. Why can't we lead the way to 100% clean energy, Mr. Ford? Show the critics they are wrong about you and become a globally respected leader by bucking the trend.
